Position Summary:

We are looking for a self-motivated individual that can provide high level of customer service to employees and managers across various locations in Asia Pacific region. The Regional Human Resources Generalist is responsible for ensuring the delivery of end-to-end HR services in compliance with all governance requirements and in line with corporate HR strategies and initiatives. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; immigration and talent management .

Job Responsibilities:

 The major responsibilities of the Regional Human Resources Generalist include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the regional management team by providing guidance on effective human resource management and best practices.
  • Advice managers on various topics, including employment policies, hiring practices, salary market data, immigration, employee relations, etc .
  • Serve as first point of contact for employees in region for all HR related topics through the employee lifecycle in the company.
  • Prime recruiting activities in region, including: creating job descriptions, job postings, candidate search, background checks, employee onboarding and search agency engagement.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.

Experience and Skills:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration related field
  • PHR/SPHR Certification or additional HR training, preferred.
  • 7+ years of HR Generalist experience across various countries in Asia Pacific
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Team Player, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multinational environment.
  • Resourceful and highly motivated self-starter
  • Must be eligible to work in Malaysia.
