Ribbon’s KANDY communications Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is a real time software development platform built from Ribbon’s core communications, presence, security and real time technologies. What you can expect:
 
A KANDY Junior Software Developer supports evolution of Ribbon’s KANDY PaaS, WebRTC and Unified Communications solutions by developing software capabilities in an agile environment.   The focus of the position is to develop and maintain software used in the KANDY programs.  This critical position lies at the heart of the evolution of global communications.
 
Our KANDY Junior Software Developer will contribute to changing the face of communications by:
  • Working in a scrum team, guided by senior developers, in an agile environment to design, implement and maintain world-class software delivering customer-demanded services for the KBS portal, cloud infrastructure and the KANDY WebRTC solution
  • Contributing to your scrum team’s success in driving to completion the selected epics, ensuring we’re not only meeting customer needs, but leading the market space in quality and capability
  • Taking responsibility for solving challenging problems to deliver world-leading cloud and web oriented unified communications solutions
  • Participating in team activities inside and outside of work

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 What we’re looking for:
 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and are less than 1 year out of school
  • You are an agile software engineer and work well in teams contributing on the same project
  • You have strengths in PHP, Java/Spring, REST, SOAP, structured and non-structured data models, JavaScript, C/C++ and HTTP software delivery
  • You know LINUX and why it would be used for this solution
  • Understanding of SIP and/or WebRTC
