Position Summary:

  • Heavy B2B prospecting by telephone and email
  • Respond to online or phone inquiries from contacts
  • Call into specified lists of targeted accounts
  • Visit targeted accounts with account managers
  • Prospect/sales opportunity qualification
  • Handling and overcoming objections
  • Database, contact management, and CRM management

Specific performance measures include:

  • Generation of Qualified Sales Prospects
  • Prospect to Opportunity Conversion Ratio
  • Opportunity to Win Conversion Ratios

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in sales experience in B2B, especially in networking, telephony or telecom market.
  • Understanding of Information Technology or highly versed in a related technology field (networking, session border controllers, media gateways, unified communications).
  • Experience using salesforce.com as a CRM to manage the leads pipeline.
  • Ability to develop effective approaches to convert sales leads to opportunities.
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, and written skills
