Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst - Reporting

Location: Plano, TX 

Position Summary:

  • Assist in preparation, coordination, and related analyses of quarterly SEC filings.
  • Perform technical research, as needed, to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
  • Prepare quarterly reporting schedules to support financial statements and footnote disclosures. Coordinate with various levels of management to accumulate necessary data.
  • Assist in review of Investor Relations’ quarterly earnings release and call script, as well as investor presentations.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by management.
  • Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.
  • Prepare BOD PPT decks
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Ops Review packages.
  • Prepare management books.

Experience and Skills:

• Strong educational background: minimum BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong PPT, Excel and Word skills.
• Strong written communication skills.
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in business environment, including previous financial analyst experience.
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to tailor to different management levels.
• Knowledge of financial statements, including good understanding of basic GAAP principles.
• HFM or other general ledger and/or financial consolidation system experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Oracle knowledge a plus.
• Planful knowledge a plus.
• Ability to understand the relationships between metrics and the operational and financial processes.
• Committed, detail oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of financial calculations and reporting requirements.
