Position Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Position Summary:

  • Support the Company’s general and administrative functions (Exec, Finance, IT and Legal) in the following areas:
  • Reviewing monthly operating expenses with department managers and prepare budget to actual variance analysis.
  • Team with the department managers to drive and prepare expected operating expenses for the annual plan and recurring forecasting process.
  • Review monthly operating expenses with Accounting for potential adjustments.
  • Review purchase requisitions for reasonableness and proper accounting.
  • Finance support for projects as needed.
  • Supporting Sarbanes-Oxley activities, including the coordination of worldwide compliance of departmental reviews of monthly operating expenses and preparation of budget to actual variance analysis.

Experience and Skills:

Strong educational background: minimum BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in business environment, including previous financial analyst experience.
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to tailor to different management levels.
• Knowledge of financial statements, including good understanding of basic GAAP principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Oracle knowledge a plus.
• Essbase or HFM knowledge a plus.
• Planful knowledge a plus.
• Ability to understand the relationships between metrics and the operational and financial processes.
• Committed, detail oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
