Position Summary:

We are looking for technically strong candidates to work for T3 team as part of Ribbon ECI portfolio providing insights for network performance.
As part of the Tac-3 team, you will be enhancing the Ribbon ECI T3 Support  networking.

Experience and Skills:

  • B.E. / B. tech in Electronics or Electronics and telecommunication.
  • 3 to 8 years of Experience in working with Telecom Transport/Optical product based companies
  • Good work Experience of Optical Transport Network technologies - OTN 100G , B100G, DWDM, Flex-Grid, Shared Spectrum etc
  •  Working on control plane GMPLS protocols like ASON, WSON is important.
  • Should be able to understand & validate the optical budget and network planning. If needed should be able to modify the optical budgeting for the customer.
  • Knowledge of using Optical networking tools like OSA,OTDR, Traffic Analyzers
  • Excellent Hands-on on Management systems – EMS, NMS and SDN controller.
  • Outstanding debugging skills of the network & Clear communication skills to explain the issue to R&D.
  •  Knowledge of operation systems : Unix/Linux and Solaris
  •  Should be able to work independently, must be fast learner and strong will to support customer.
  •  Should be ready to travel and if needed perform POCs
  • Prior Experience in Perl/Python scripting is an additional Advantage.
  • Working with tasks database using ERP system and handling issues coming from T2 India & T2-Globalteams until they are resolved. Ensure the Tasks are being handled with-in SLA.
  • Participate in the product Design meetings, SRQ review meetings and provide valid commands from Fieldperspective.
  •  Work Closely with V&V/QA teams and ensure that Field Inputs are brought to the test plans.
  •  Examining problems in depth using log files and debug commands output. Enter problem reports into the bug tracking database (JIRA) for all bugs observed in customer network during support.
  •  Simulate specific field issues at the Lab using the same hardware and database in order to replicate the problem for R&D escalation if needed.
  •  Supplying a Troubleshooting Guide, Upgrade procedures, Knowledge base entries and Root cause Analysis (RCA) as per customer request
