We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Engineer to be part of our successful Sales Team in Europe.

The team promotes and sells state of the art packet optical network solutions that meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

The day-to-day tasks are meetings (physically / virtually) with colleagues, existing customers, prospects, partners and office/home office work on various opportunities and tenders.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting customers, prospects and partners and presenting and promoting the company’s portfolio
  • Understanding the needs of potential customers from the technological standpoint
  • Being able to formulate cost effective solutions that meet the customers’ demands and requirements
  • Working closely with the sales manager, project manager, PLM’s and other stake holders
  • Preparing the technical response to RFIs/RFPs (Bill of material, table of compliance, HLD etc.)
  • Providing training and mentorship to business partners
  • Creating and retaining positive ongoing relationships with the customers and partners

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Sales Engineer in one of the industry’s leading vendors
  • Engineering or Practical Engineering certification – advantage
  • Industry certifications (Cisco, Juniper, others) - advantage
  • Understanding and familiarity of optical networks, experience in optical networks design
  • Knowledge and understanding in data networking: Layer 2 services, MPLS-TP, IP-MPLS

Languages

  • Spanish: Mother tongue level – required
  • English: High level, verbal and written - required

Others

  • Traveling abroad – Most of the work will be in Spain and Portugal, however, business travels to other countries are also expected (e.g. offices in the USA, Germany, Israel etc.)
